Our Vision

The vision of Orgullo de San Antonio is to empower, inspire and embrace all members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Latino community. Take actions based on identified needs through building bridges between the LGBTQ and Latino communities. Educate, train and clarify identifiers inclusive of Latino & queer culture. Increase awareness of current issues involving civil and human rights, marriage equality, nondiscrimination, transgender protections and participation in the political process.

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
